About The Owner

Kasandra was born in Columbus, OH, and began her art journey at age five. While drawing in kindergarten, she thought, “Hey, I’m pretty good at this thing. I think I’ll do it for a living!”. Her child-like determination propelled her to Columbus College of Art and Design, where she majored in Illustration. After graduating, she landed a career in marketing and design, where she helped grow a startup into a million-dollar marketing firm. While growing that business, she helped financial institutions, non-profits, construction, insurance, food industry, and other industry leaders improve their processes and marketing efforts.

Looking to expand her horizons, she launched Unlucky Umbrella Studio – an agency that focuses on the importance of growing marketing and operations together. Helping businesses resolve critical issues increases revenue and leads to happier clients and a better work culture.
